Pleasant View Community Incident Response Team If Hurricane Katrina taught us anything, it was that each community needs to have a plan for any disaster that might occur. Many cities and states have implemented such programs where volunteers are trained to take action in emergency situations. We in Pleasant View have our own special group of citizens who have volunteered and trained for this program. The Pleasant View Community Response Team members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. They can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
